Faithful Fivers!

What are Faithful Fivers? They are AA members who pledge at least $5.00 each month toward the support of their local Central Office, or Intergroup, to “carry the message”. This idea is catching on around the country. In "Just For Today", a story noted that “the plan came about when we remembered that many of us had spent far more than $5.00 on alcohol during our drinking days.”

Please share this idea in your Home Groups and among your friends. Each month we will list those who have joined. This column is just to introduce you to the idea, and promote interest in supporting your CFI. Thank you!

"Whenever anyone, anywhere, reaches out for help, I want the hand of A.A. always to be there. And for that, I am responsible."  -Bill Wilson

Alcoholics Anonymous® is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy, neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.
